Why can’t I trust my intuition??

Why can't I trust my intuition

Our bodies are amazing. We contain two opposing forces, Intuition and ego, the balance of which ensure we take the best action possible for our survival and growth.

....As long as we're coming from our balance of wholeness as integrated beings.

If  we're out of balance with our wholeness, ego and fear are going to:

  • Stop you in you tracks with analysis paralysis and confusion over details and "how" questions.
  • Distract you from the real work and healing that is needed.
  • Delay everything you've been trying to work for and manifest.

And you probably won't even realize that's what's happening because it will feel like:

  • Your doubts and confusion are justified.
  • You did the "next logical step", basically what everyone else does, and you can put your faith in following the herd and gaggles of teachers out there.
  • There is just something wrong with you, that you can't get the with program, stop being so sensitive, or that you can never seem to toughen up enough to make real head way.

But that is exactly when and why you need to put your integrated, whole, lightworker-self first.

Here's how I got Fiercely Sensitive and started really standing in my own light!!

Because the "next logical step" might only be logical for you if you are approaching it from a place of abundance, instead of fear or desperation.

Because maybe the Universe is waiting on your to take inspired action before the next step in the plan will even make sense or get delivered to you.

Because maybe you need to be deep in your power, confidence, self-value, and guidance to make the next step work.

Because maybe being fierce and going after your your dreams REQUIRES your tender, compassionate, whole heart...your authentic sensitivity.

We are not meant to live solely in ego or fear. Nor are meant to live solely in the spiritual high of being in-tune with guidance and soul. We need to become integrated beings who can:

  • Trust guidance and intuition, who can act on inspired action and grow into the results we wish to manifest.
  • Curate our thoughts and beliefs to maintain our vibration and energy levels.
  • Let our fierce open-heart lead.

Staying in the patterns of Intuition hit or miss, mistrust, or frustration from trying to decipher every exacting detail of an intuitive hit is going to keep you in fear. It cannot solve the trust problems. Only taking a leap and creating inspired action can bring us the proof we seek.  There is never a perfect time, perfect place in life in which to begin this level of trusting, other than the only time we have...right now.

None of this requires hours upon hours of meditation, years of healing and therapy, or beating yourself up.

All that being Fiercely Sensitive actually requires is being okay within yourself in this moment, to say "I hear you, keep talking..." to Spirit.

Being unshakable in life and biz

Being unshakable in life and biz

This weekend was the weekend before I started my big launch. I had spent a good month creating and planning, and I was ready to lay it all out there. And then... I spent all weekend doing family stuff that came up, did one birthday dinner, had an unexpected new tarot client call for an appointment on Sunday who then showed up two hours late after I cleaned the house for them, one of our cars wouldn't start, internet kept going off this morning, last night my daughter got sick all over her bed at 2:30 am, and my mother-in-law decided she needed to have a tax return crisis in the middle of my afternoon video shootings. I won't lie and say I didn't get a little ruffled.

Mischief managed: Check

As soon as I felt that black cloud over my head seriously begin to form, this time I knew better than to feed into any of that bull. None of it had anything to do with my value or worth as a lightworker. There might be some truth to the idea that because I was birthing something that had a bigger energy to it, my normal ripples got a little bigger too. There might be some truth to Merc retro and Saturn retro happening in the next week or so messing with the flows. But ya what?

It's only really as true as I make it for myself.

I let that black cloud go. Shit happens. We deal with it and move. My old pattern of listening and believing in my pity-me stories never got me anywhere but exhausted and irritable. What I needed this week was Love, tons more love. It might sound all "don't worry be happy" cliche, but when you think about the Law of Attraction, the you fixate on that black cloud, the more real that black cloud is going to get for you.

Love is one of the highest vibrations we can bring into any mix. It doesn't have be all soft and mushy, it can be fierce and loyal. Love can be light-hearted like sharing a good joke on livestream just to brighten someone's day or it can be serious and genuine, like telling someone you believe in them. Tap into a flavor of love to dispel those storm clouds or soar above the storm, cuz the only reason that storm will stop you from moving forward, shining bright like the beacon you are, is if you believe it actually means anything more than life happening as it will!

7 ways to know if your spiritual practice needs an upgrade

7 ways to know if your spiritual practice needs an upgrade

For years my soul sister and I used to banter about what we called the “fall wall”. We had noticed that every fall there seemed to be some kind of life dilemma or challenge that came up..specifically in the fall. Thinking about this last fall and the one coming up, I realized that we had been experiencing the eclipse door that Elizabeth Peru teaches about. This particular eclipse is having us focus on our personal habits and ideas about what we are capable of.

For many sensitivities and Intuitives getting into a personal spiritual practice can be the best thing to help stabilize gifts and begin to gain momentum. So this month I really want to help you, my loves, to evaluate and maybe begin some daily practices to help make the transition into a more powerful and centered life!

Not all daily spiritual practice are equal, nor are they all meant to be a sole focus for long periods of time!

Here 4 things to consider if your spiritual practice might have you feeling a little flat or ungrounded. You might need to change up your daily practices if:

  1. Your practice is not meeting your emotional needs: Thoughts and emotions are, by their very nature, fluid and changeable. We are never coming to our day from the same place we had in the past. A good spiritual practice will be adaptable to meet us from the place we came to Spirit. But if you cannot seem to get to the open and open-hearted space we should be aiming for, then it’s probably time to try something new.
  2. Your practice makes you feel like or believe that you need to be only certain way: A spiritual practice should be adaptable to where you are and what you need. If you have a goal that takes external action (like say building a business), then your practice might need to revolve around boning up on taking lots of small inspired action, it would be like building up your manifestation muscles and habits. If your goal is more of an inward journey, your practices might more revolve around energy cleansings and heart work. The point is that not every practice will be suitable to all the goals you might want to encompass in life. While generally we should aiming for an open-hearted feeling, how we get there and what we need to do to get there, even the time it takes to release something, makes each experience new and personalized to where you are actually coming from that day.
  3. Having a hard time making choices, following guidance, or choosing change: Soul always know what you need to choose, it’s the personal mind in the body gets confused. If you are experiencing hesitation, doubt, or confusion it could very well be that the practice you are doing isn’t giving the grounding you need to bring Soul Wisdom through and into inspired action.
  4. It feels cumbersome and like a lot of work: Spiritual work does not have to be hard work. Nor does it have to be time consuming. Simpler is often better and more effective. Do only that which you need to make the shift you need at that time. Otherwise you run risk of having your practices become more like trappings than tools of substance. There are certain things that everyday you might need, like giving yourself an energy boost or grounding into soul self, but don’t ever think that you need to reach the same emotional state every time, nor spend hours trying make yourself feel only one way.

Sometimes it’s not the practice that’s keeping us in rut. Sometimes it’s our own willingness to work with the Earthly guidance we get (aka: our feelings)!

3 ways to tell if you need to sink deeper into your spiritual practices or take it a new level of commitment:

  1. Not satisfying, procrastination, or feeling resistance.
  2. You have guidance and inspiration, but can’t seem to focus or get it out.
  3. You are denying, burying, or avoiding your feelings.

new-level-of-daily-practice

If you find you or your practices need a bit of a boost, not to worry! We all go through it!

Finding you need to change things up to meet your current needs is not something you need heap self-judgment on yourself over!

Follow your heart, Loves! Allow it to guide you to the practices your Divine self really needs! And keep an eye out for this month’s blog post, as I will be talking more about the practices that are my go-to activities for staying in center!

How does grounding work?

how does grounding work

As we are coming into the next part of our grounding series, I want to point out that my ideas about grounding are not average, nor traditional. I would like to this of my ideas as the next step, or advanced grounding. According to most traditional sources grounding is the co-mingling of our energy with the Earth, which help to relieve stress, anxiety, energy overload, and to keep us balanced between Earth and Heavenly energies. If we become too airy, too full of exuberance, thoughts, inspiration, we are told to ground those energies out and maintain balance and equilibrium.

But this isn’t exactly what I’m finding in my own explorations of grounding from a space of embodied soul. I want take a closer look at the mechanics of what seems to be happening from my perspective. My first step is to center. And if you haven’t read anything else by me, you can see my take on centering here.

To sum up it up though, for me centering is allowing Soul back into body, to be in holistically in alignment, so that our natural power, Wisdom, Love, and Presence can flow freely. Infrequently does this happen without some adjustments and energy work. I literally loosen up any dark or slower moving places within me, find the root, love up the root, and with love, raise the vibe in those denser energy places so they mostly in sync with everything else. Looking at what I just said though, it implies I am adding different qualities of love to my being just to steady things out. Centering is what steadies my being out. Not grounding.

Once I’m steadily flowing, then I ground. I take the Divine energies (some I had to consciously apply, others I woke up experiencing), which have now co-mingled with my bodily energies, and I allow it flow to that sweet spot at the center of the Earth. As the energies co-mingle with the Earth energies they begin to take on weight and substance. I experience that a certain quality of energy is added to the mix which allows these energies to acquire a more Earthly form…something that can actually create ripple through our reality. I don’t necessarily know the form it will take, speech, writing, organization. But these energies somehow become more real and part of my reality once they have been Earthed. At this point they come back up in my vessel, ready to be used.

But now hold a minute…

chakras

I didn’t give my energy to Earth, not unless I specifically thought to bless it. When I took energies into Earth, Earth didn’t just strip away the energy or it’s intention. In fact, it seemed to refine it and give it more umph. So…Earth added energy to the mix. This isn’t exactly what tradition explains how grounding should go. While traditional knowledge doesn’t give me much help here, my mind does recall someone else talking about this.

Carolyn Myss, famed New Age healing guru, explained this exact scenario in the “Anatomy of Spirit” as the process of manifesting our Divine Works on the Earthly Plane. In fact, in that book she charts out the course Divine Energy takes through our chakras to become grounded and ultimately manifest!!! Okay, more on that next week, in my future blog of “How to Improve you grounding practices”.

Grounding isn’t just connecting with the Earth, it’s an essential step in the manifestation process.

Grounding isn't just connecting with the Earth, it's an essential step in the manifestation process. Click To Tweet

This is is HUGE!!

When I add Divine energy to my own, and then ground it, I am manifesting the qualities of love I intuited I needed…the world needed. I am literally grounding my own reality. By extension, every time I center and ground, I am also choosing a new future, a future where I have everything I need.

grouding is manifestation: the universe is responding to who you think you are

Trippy, right?

What I do know about these energies, is that we are their host, partners in crime, so to speak. But they are not really personal to us. This is our personal method of tapping into something greater than us. The more each of us ground the energies we need to feel well and whole, the more reality changes, and more of these energies will be available on this plane. The more in oneness we have the ability to become. I’ll make no guess as to how that will exactly be. I’m not even sure it’s healthy to guess at such things. All I really know is that coming into Oneness, grounding these energies, feels good. For the longest time I didn’t think feeling good like that on a daily basis was possible.

Grounding is one of the essential practices of manifesting Heaven on Earth, or at least our own personal Heavens. No external world changes happen without first centering and grounding a high vibe within our personal sphere of influence and reality. For me, the easiest, path of least resistance method, of making all that happen is through feeling. Centering and grounding feels amazing to me, it changes my reality for the better because it leaves me feeling so good I just want to keep doing it.

Let me know in the comments, lovely lightworker:

What feeling states do you need to manifest?

What do you think would feel so good, you wouldn’t want to stop feeling that way?

How would being in that feeling state change your reality?

Resistance and Intuition: The dance of growth

dance of resistance and guidance

This post about resistance is part of a series about the 4 most common blocks to the staying in the Intuitive State, you can catch up on the whole series here.

In retrospect, I can see so clearly how I created resistance over just about everything that now make me who I am today. From mindset shifts, to lessons about abilities work, to my own worth. I used to say….

That can’t be right!

How could that be?

Maybe in an ideal world.

But I don’t know how to do that?

I’m not sure how that would really help.

That sounds so hard/expensive/drawn out.

I can’t do that.

But that’s not who I am….

But I don’t wanna…..

I resisted because what was being presented to me, or rather my idea of that shift, scared me on some level. Perhaps it made me feel like I was lacking in something that made the shift seem impossible. Maybe I feared the backlash of saying something or choosing to approach the situation a certain way. Over the course of my own path there have been things I’ve known I should be doing, confronting, making my stand on, which I was happy to hold far far away from my daily life. I had hope I could get by without having to go there. It seemed like tango between feeling guided and resisting guidance. One moment both sides of me were all over each other, then next guidance was trying to reel my resistance back into the dance.

Sometimes it seems like there is some grand scheme to make us each confront our resisted truths. But then I learned to sit with my resistance and fear. I learned not to let it run away with me, but to sit and see what it is I am actually feeling fear or lack over. Because of this practice, I no longer believe that the Universe or God are some cold authorities out to test us at every step. The reason it seems like the Universe is out to teach us a lesson  is only because we act out of fear, we psyche ourselves out, and allow ego to talk trash to us to the point where simply aren’t even willing to look at what Soul might have been implying. We are constantly being presented Truths and ways to grow, some trigger our emotions and fear more deeply than others. Sometimes change comes naturally, even welcomed. The only difference from a “hard” lesson and an easy one is our perception of what has to change. Of course, there are somethings that just suck. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t begin to see why it’s needed. We might even see how it was the perfect thing for us, even if it made us a little uncomfortable.

Getting to the point where we can even begin to unravel the stories ego came up with can be tricky. Where I used to see this as never-ending of dance of acceptance and rejection of the present moment, I now see it as a birthing process.  When we are finally in alignment and really know, deep down inside, that we must change, we allow pieces of our intrinsic, already existing, potential self, come into our reality bubble.  We are birthing a more integrated version of ourselves, one has stripped away another layer of shadow. Shadow is the boxes we create when we believe ourselves to be shameful, unworthy, broken. In other words, not already fully part of the light. But let’s just face facts, Ego abhors change. Unless we see from the get go that the change we are considering doesn’t have a downside, we’re going to have to deal with Ego trying to butt it’s head into our soul business.

resistance as labor pains

Maybe we stop dancing because of resistance.

In seeing this process as labor pains, we see that our resistance is a very natural pain, a common experience we share, along a larger journey. A lot of times, Ego will go into contractions over the fact that we are moving out of our comfort zone. Sometimes those are contractions are so intense all we can to do is hold on and breathe our way through it. But once we can recognize that the world isn’t falling to pieces or that something is trying to stop you, all that just happened was a birthing pain, you can more easily reorient yourself along the path.

And as a pregnant mother needs extra care and support, so will you, as you allow more of you soul-self into this world! But once begun and committed to, there really is not way to stop the birthing process. Labor pains are the not reason to stop changing, growing. They are the signal the end of this particular journey is coming to some kind of conclusion. Those bouts of resistance are the sign we were looking to tell us to be diligent so we can finish what we started.

The things we resist the hardest are usually the things we need the most to become more whole. Click To Tweet

The secret relationship between emotional pain and intuition

The secret relationship between pain and intuition

This article, about the relationship between pain and intuition, is part of a series about the main 4 block to intuition and also the Emotional Mastery Series. I took two weeks off during the writing of this series (1st article and 2nd article of the Intuition block series), as I had gone through my own bout of pain, struggle, and anxiety. I bless that period of time now, as it really brought home the point of this series in such a profound way that I feel like a clear, laser-focused, on the deepest truth of this life experience.

Let me start off by saying that I am only speaking of emotional pain. I am not speaking of physical pain from injury, disease, or disorder, I am not doctor in any way, and can only speak from my experiences and insights received as an intuitive. That all being said, what I learned during my break was that pain is the experience we have, and we all share it, that something has been taken away from us or the fear that we will somehow lose something. It is the knee jerk survival mechanism that warns us that way in some way be diminished by an encounter, argument, or situation, perhaps even diminished to the point of injury or death.

While emotional pain is a natural reaction, it is not natural for us to hold on that pain. That holding on to pain puts stress on the body that can ultimately weaken and damage the body. The stress of carrying our pain certainly will begin to effect our daily lives, sleep and eating patterns, and we will continue to decline and feel worse.

Pain, or fear of emotional pain, is the root cause of our emotions and behaviors. Yet it is not the pain, in and of itself, that causes the most disruption and damage in our lives. The point of pain is to lead us back to oneness. Like it’s sibling fear, pain shows us where we need love and more healing. It is ego’s response to pain that is the most disruptive to our lives and healing.

Ego is a natural structure, or maybe function, in our minds and consciousness. It allows us to safely experience and learn about the world around us. When we experience things, even pain, ego seeks to explain the reason we feel it and helps us to figure out if something is harmful or helpful. Being that ego only really deals with physical world issues, it only is half the equation, as we are not only physical beings. So as long we resist coming into our natural intuitive state, embracing and coming into alignment with our multi-dimensional soul, we are only getting about half the story about any experience we have, whether it pain, fear, happiness, or joy. While feelings states like happiness and joy are closer to the vibration and state of intuitive soul connection, even they aren’t fully an expression of soul centeredness. We can feel joy and happiness for all the wrong reasons.

force shame out of hiding, giving our pain the light

The longer we stay entrenched in the day to day living beyond this physical plane, the easier it becomes to accept pain and fear as our very real, very deeply reality. The deeper and more frequently we experience this reality the crazier ego becomes in attempting to figure out the pain and solve it. Of course, when firmly entrenched in the physical world view, we all see how it can make sense. Yet ego’s explanations will never fully account or be able to fully heal our pain because it is just one part of us. And because ego is in overdrive trying to resolve our pain, ego also fails to point out that we aren’t the only one’s in pain. The experience of ego and pain, left unchecked by soul and the intuition state, makes it hard to see that our pain isn’t as personal to us as we would believe.

If fact, in those moments of unchecked fear and pain, we seem to all believe that our pain is so real and painful that no one else could possible understand or have experienced this level of darkness and hurt. We fall under the illusion that we are so deeply flawed and lacking we cannot or should not be part of the world around us, or that there are parts of us that should never see the light of day again…or the light of Divine Love. We create our shadow sides, because we have believed the stories ego has fed us, that our pain makes us ugly and unacceptable…some how different.

But the opposite is more true. We are one in our experience of pain. It is through the realization of Oneness that we experience the healing of our pain. Brene Brown’s work on vulnerability beautifully explains that when we can embrace our pain and begin to become vulnerable, to share our pain experience, that we become healed. From an energy level, it makes complete sense, that being vulnerable and sharing would lead us to our healing and Oneness. When we believe ego, it tells us we are alone, flawed, broken, should not show our pain, we close ourselves off. We try to close off the energy of that wound, sometimes we create divisions within ourselves to keep that wound hidden in shadow. But when we share things, our energy opens back up again and the potential for light and love to reach our deep inner pain is possible again.

Our deeply held wounds and emotional pain, are those places within ourselves that we (or ego) has deemed fit to never see the light, when it is the light (our soul, intuition state, the open flow between us and the world around us) that is the cure to our pain. By denying our soul selves and Divine Love, we only keep ourselves in pain.

The soulful, intuition state is the antidote to our emotional pain. Click To Tweet

Fear and Intuition, two expressions of guidance

Fear and darkness have no existence on their own

Without going into into a lot woo woo talk, I want to say that I feel that intuition and fear are two sides of the same coin…perhaps even the same side. Last week I started a series about the top 4 blocks to intuition. I began with a rather “out there” idea of what intuition is. But if you haven’t read that post, take a look now, because the context is important to note. Part of why this series may sound new and different is that I don’t think the Universe is some parochial school nun out to teach us or punish us. And when we are in an intuition state, we are aligning ourselves with Universe Truth, where there is nothing but support….perhaps not how we expected it, but support nonetheless.

In that Universal state of Oneness, there is only flow and knowing and Truth. There isn’t fear. Fear is within us, it is created only by us. We judge and punish ourselves far worse than any person or Divinity would or could.

Fear is when we feel threatened, emotionally triggered, too small, not enough, not capable, in the face of a specific potential. It is our reaction to the potential that is fearful, triggered, ego driven, survival driven. But the potential remains a possibility, no matter how we feel about. It is part of the whole and cannot be otherwise.

Fear is the absence of Love

It is our reaction that is not in alignment with the Universe, not the potential. What amuses me when I stop and think about it is that I can be in fear and still be in alignment with the Universe…at least enough to keep receiving guidance. Fear doesn’t really “block” the intuitive flow, the intuitive flow state is our natural state. But fear and ego does stop us from accepting Truth when we let those parts of ourselves pilot our lives. If you need further proof of this, think back to a time when you terrified, can you see how it was Truth that brought you back around? You might have even had a “knowing” that things would turn out the way they did, under the fear. Or someone might have been there to hold space for Truth when you could not…even if you didn’t want to hear it at the time, and resented the hell out of it.

That resentment is fear driven, it’s ego’s way of keeping us safe from a potential that threatens our safety. But following ego’s idea of what is safe only keeps in illusion or denial. We say “well that can’t happen”, “that’s not fair, why me?”, or “I would die if that happened”. But none of that is really true.  What fear is showing us is where we need to apply apply more Divine Love. This is why we are experiencing fear, because we have denied or resisted a place within ourselves that needed more Divine Love, a part of self that needs to come into further alignment. In fear, we have believed ego’s stories that perhaps we were too unworthy, too bad, too wrong, too….whatever, to be in Love and Truth.

fear is a sacred message

I don’t believe that while we are on this physical plane we can truly escape fear and ego. But I do know from my personal experience, that we can begin unraveling the stories that were created to keep us in a state of feeling “lacking” or “small”, to come to a greater truth about ourselves, our purpose, our own Divinity. We don’t need to hate Fear. Fear is not being mean, trying to punish us for the past, or even test us. Fear is only showing us where we need to be bolstered up more with Love. It is like an outcome card in a tarot layout, showing us where things could go, if we choose to keep that part of ourselves from the light, the outcome if we do not make changes. We need to make changes, to let the Love in further and further into our darkest parts in order to know our Wholeness and to move past where we have blocked ourselves from moving forward in alignment. If intuition is the light, fear is the absence of light, guiding us to be whole.

If intuition is the light, fear is the absence of light, guiding us to be whole. Click To Tweet

Vlog: Opening to the perfect moment!

Today I realized again how I was in the perfect moment. Just another day in the life of an intuitive, it just wasn’t the day I thought I would have. I thought maybe I’d get some work done, I’d have a client session, things would progress and then I would have dinner with my family. But those high energies of the last super new moon of year hit way high today. I’m working on a whole other level today, than I was yesterday. It certainly didn’t start out that way. It started out as grumpy that all my plans had gotten completely disrupted. But in that, I made a choice and a few minutes to listen more closely to the wisdom that was coming through. That inner knowing sprang forth so quickly and so completely today that for a while I felt I was running to catch up. And in even that, I listened closer. And then I became what was needed, and I saw how this was the day I needed to have, the perfect moment, the perfect timing. I don’t have a clear picture of what that means in the long term, but that isn’t needed. What’s needed is the openness to see that there is a bigger picture, a force shuffling things into place. And if I had stayed grumpy and resentful, I would have missed it. I would have completely overlooked the change that needed to happen in my own heart and mind.  But, Loves, the funny part is that this moment is not unlike all the others. Every moment has the potential to be this clear, this solid in knowing, this open to Divine timing and alignment. We simply need to choose it!

Dealing with high energies like eclipses and retrogrades

Dealing with high energies like eclipses and retrogrades

With the high energies from this last week, like many other sensitives out there, I just couldn’t seem to get a grip on myself. Old issues, old words, judgments against myself swirled through my head day and night. And for no particular cause and effect reason. And I was utterly exhausted from the tumultuous night-time forays into my past. I was sorely tempted to be more than a little grumpy.

I will say this upfront I don’t believe the Universe gives us things or circumstances to make us suffer. And I will also say that each of these periods of time have different effects. Listening to resources like Elizabeth Peru or Mystic Mama can give you an idea of the types of themes that might get visited during each of these high energy periods.

Let’s take a quick example here, Mercury appears to go retrograde every couple of months. It varies in length. Generally speaking, Mercury in retrograde t means there will be less than direct energy in the realms of communication and travel. Does it mean awful things will happen to you? No more than any other time. Does it mean you will get into a fight or miss your flight, maybe. But those could happen at any other time as well. It does mean that if you have issues or triggers around communication you will be given chances to recognize it and clear it. Maybe you need to learn to speak your needs, stand up for yourself, or get clarity on why you always seem to feel misunderstood.

We are being called to act from our deepest selves, vulnerable, and be in-choice about our decisions. Speak your Truth. Click To Tweet

I know when things seem to go wrong, we want to let our most immediate reaction lead. We want to yell, scream, sigh in frustration, or stomp around the house while we look for our phones, trying to get the car to start, or calling the cable company because the internet is on the fritz.

But I want you to realize something.

Just recognizing this state of off-ness is the point where you need to think about going to take a bubble bath or grabbig a novel, instead of pushing forward with anything serious.

It’s during times, when the whole world seems more chaotic than usual, that we fall back into a bad habits. We think that we have done something wrong, it must be us, maybe we’re being punished. We want to react badly, chuck our good intentions out the window, because we don’t actually believe we are enough, able to cope without falling apart, and/or things won’t go our way unless we make it go our way. But isn’t it funny how the printer always seems to break when we are rushing to get something done or during a retrograde?  Or is that we are already operating under duress and aren’t able to get into a flow state that would help us get around small problems? It’s the thinking, the fear, that is driving this. Planetary bodies can break printers.

Mercury did not come down and take sledge hammer to your printer. Not psychically, not cosmically, not even as an allegory!

What I usually find when shifting back to this a Soul-centered state is just how hard I’ve been pushing my agenda on the Universe. I wasn’t in flow, like I thought I was. When we’re coming a low vibe, that pushing or controlling of our flow state actually begins to impair our ability to flow rather quickly. The more drained and discouraged we feel, the more off we get and into fear or insecurity. The further from Soul and center, the faster the downward spiral.

But our thoughts and plans that’s all simply expectation and conjecture. Our wounded inner child having a fit because it’s afraid of feeling hurt.  Ego, our potential threat alarm system, doesn’t actually know if there is a threat or not. All it really knows is that we are feeling upset and there must be a reason. So it makes all sorts of guesses as to why that could be. The truth, however, lies in integrating Soul into your daily living and into your problem solving.  Preferably before we take the sledge hammer to the printer!

And that is the gift of the high energy periods we have throughout the year.  Soul-self is being strengthened so that we can more easily see how we’ve allowed our wounded inner children to run our lives. In the daily grind of things, our connection with Soul can get muddled. During the high energy periods, Soul brought into our awareness. That transition feels chaotic to us because our inner children don’t understand why we can’t give them the reigns again, at least at first. The tantrum our inner children might throw may seem more exaggerated because Soul is trying to put things back into perspective. The gift in these high vibe times, also comes in learning to love into that fear and love our inner wounded child. On the surface this may sound just another call for more self TLC, but this goes deeper.

We have spent many years in self-abusive judgment patterns, layers upon layers of shame and guilt. The high energies times are working to strip away these layers. It might seem uncomfortable, we may get triggered. But once we understand what’s being worked on and what fear-based beliefs challenged, the process becomes more natural. When we are able to love our fears for what they are, simple messages about where we need more love in our lives, then there is no struggle or resistance to these high-energy times. These retrogrades, eclipses, and other astrological events become miraculous and healing.

Divinely Aligned Vlog: March 8th why high energies might not feel so good

high energies vlog

Ok, first of all I promise to remember to turn off my notifications next time I vlog! So sorry about the interruptions, I’m still getting the hang of the doing of the tech.

But onward or upward, I wanted to be me in the moment for this series, so this is what you get! You get me leaning against the window in my bedroom to catch the wonderful blue skies outside.

So what’s important about today and today’s message, well it’s one of those high energy days. It’s coming into a super new moon, we’re coming into eclipse energy, and we’re having a master day today. And what all those high energies, you would expect to be feeling pretty darn good, right?

That’s not always the case. If we are not in our truth, our most Divine self, that high energy might hit you like a brick wall. You might even feel a little flu-ish or completely flustered. Watch the latest vlog to get some ideas about how you might get more in-flow with the day and high energies.
